BRC ADULT RETREAT

April 25 - 26 at the Sacandaga Bible Center (the same beautiful log lodge we stayed in last year). The cost: $65 per person (please let Pastor Rich know if finances are an issue). The theme: "Loved X 3." This year’s adult retreat will be a great follow-up to our 24/45 prayer journey. We will be exploring not only how to have a deeper relationship with God but how to know and love and be loved by each Person of the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. While not a requirement for coming to the retreat, we are asking participants to read a short Christian novel entitled The Shack (copies are in Rich's study for $9). In addition to being a page-turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat, it addresses issues like suffering, the Trinity and a host of other questions that can make or break our ability to feel close to God. The ALPHA Course

April 2 BRC will offer another Alpha Course. ALPHA involves 11 Wednesday evenings and a weekend retreat (Friday evening May 16 and daytime hours on Saturday, May 17). Every Wednesday evening begins with sharing a meal prepared by the Alpha cooks. Next there’s a video on the topic of the evening and then small group discussions. All of us who’ve taken the course say, "TRY IT! You’ll LIKE it!" If you’re interested, call Sharon at 372-4704.

24/7 PRAYER EVENT

February 6 - March 23 Recently members and friends of BRC prayed during one hour slots, every hour, every day throughout Lent in a prayer room specifically created for this event.
